Advertisers enjoy special pricing, which is only available to qualified UP residents.
To qualify as a UP advertiser, the advertiser must be a legal resident of the
UP. The advertiser's legal residency is determined by the actual owner of the
business. Corporations registered in Michigan whose primary location is in the
UP are UP advertisers; all other corporations are either National Advertisers
or Affiliates of Sigma One Group, a Wisconsin-based corporation whose owners are
natives of, property owners in, and taxpayers to the UP.

UP Promoters: UP Promoters are individuals or businesses whose primary
purpose is to promote commerce activities in the UP which benefit residents or
businesses located in the UP.

of the UP, or whose legal entity was formed outside of the UP is a national advertiser.

Affiliate Advertisers: Sigma One Group operates an affiliate
program for the benefit of it and its advertisers to enjoy wider exposure on the
Internet and through affiliate advertising programs, such as those conducted from
time to time on local television stations, through localized radio and newspaper
placements, and in all major search engines. These programs include agreements
not to compete in search engine marketing channels, such as pay-per-click advertising.
To date, the benefits of the affiliate program have proven to be astronomical.

No, you must physically and legally reside in the UP to qualify for UP advertising
rates, however, you can still advertise on Say YA To Da UP. National advertisers
advertise with image placements (the graphic advertisements displayed to the left
and right of the page) and with that advertisement, are also provided the opportunity
to list their business contact information within the individual categories, which
listing will be displayed under a heading denoting that the business is located
outside of the UP, but offers services to residents or businesses of the UP.
